No-Gi shorts without Velcro. 160 g/m², 4-way stretch, fully sublimated.

Why no Velcro?

Velcro scratches. It snags on rash guards, it leaves marks on your partner's skin, and it gets rougher with every wash.

We left it out.

Instead of a Velcro closure, the front has an elastic waistband with an internal drawcord. You set the fit yourself, and there is no stiff closure in front of your hips making itself felt every time you bend.

This is not just a design decision. You will barely notice the difference yourself. Your training partner will.

Light, and mobile in every direction

160 g/m², 90 % polyester, 10 % spandex, 4-way stretch. The fabric does not only stretch lengthwise and crosswise, it also follows diagonal movement.

That is exactly what grappling needs. Deep guard, hip escapes, high step when passing, technical stand-up, scrambles. Your leg rarely moves in just one plane. A fabric that only gives in two directions works against you in those moments.

On top of that comes a reinforced seam construction, built for what every session does to a pair of shorts: pulling, rotation and friction on the mat.

The pattern

The tonal KAIZEN wave pattern and the graphic elements are fully sublimated. They sit in the fabric, not on top of it. No stiff print layer, nothing that cracks or peels.

Depending on light and movement, the structure shows more or less strongly. Moss Green sets the accents and ties the shorts visually to the KAIZEN Core rash guard.

No overloaded graphics. No elements without a purpose.

A, waist width: measured around the natural waist, just above the hips.

All measurements in centimetres. These are approximate values, small manufacturing tolerances are possible. Also take into account how you personally like the fit.

Care

Wash cold at 30 °C, inside out. No fabric softener, no tumble dryer, no bleach, no ironing. Tie the drawcord before washing so it does not slip into the waistband.

First production run

50 pieces. There will be no more from this run.

Returns

Returns only unworn, unwashed and with the tag attached. For hygiene reasons. With a garment worn directly on the skin, there is no other way.
